Biomedical Liaison
Job Summary
Acts as a liaison between Crescent Medical Center Lancaster and a 3rd party contracted biomedical company. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities
Full Time, Part Time, PRN
Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas
• Orders supplies according to established procedures.
• Makes minor repairs as needed.
• Maintains rentals and records pertaining to rentals onsite.
• Assists in training of all hospital staff in the safe use of biomedical equipment.
• Provides technical support on new and replaced biomedical equipment.
• Responsible for keeping current on new developments in biomedical equipment and systems.
• Participates in performance improvement and information management programs.
• Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality.
Regulatory Requirements
• Associate of Science degree from an accredited institution (Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician [CBET]) preferred.
• One (1) years related experience.
